Hey There, Hi There!

I’m here! I built a new website because I was wanting to switch hosts, and so now I need to update all my blogs. Which I’m kind of excited about because my blog has been needing a face lift. SO here I am, this is me:)

For years I have dreamed about having a photography business, but let’s be real… I’VE BEEN BUSY. We had 4 kids in 5 years all while owning a few businesses, buying a few houses, and moving a few times. 

Finally in 2019 we were preparing to sell one of our houses and my brother hired a photographer to take photos of our house for the MLS listing, and I watched the guy taking pictures of our house, and thought “I could do that!” 

That was it.. that’s where this business started. I started out doing Real Estate Photography, with the lofty hope of shooting multi million dollar listings.. That hasn’t been the case. While I have shot some beautiful homes, I found that I wasn’t able to be quite as creative as I wanted to be.

As I mentioned before, I have 4 SWEET children, so my time is somewhat limited. ALSO, if I am going to take time to do something for me, I want it to be a valuable use of my time and something that I really enjoy. So I started researching other types of photography relating to businesses and I realized that Brand photography is a thing. 

So I stepped into the creative corner of brands and businesses and entrepreneurs in August 2020. I never want to look back. I have loved every single brand shoot I’ve done, every single lifestyle shoot I’ve done, and every single small business shoot I’ve done. 

With every shoot I improve my skills and technique. And honestly, I am enjoying all of it. I’ve learned so much in the last 5 months in regard to photography, small business, social media, marketing, and web design.
